Alternatively: does your local politician have a superior understanding of the concept of 'force' than, say, your average physicist? If predestination in its category is analogous to deterministic chaos, might the concept of grace be likened to a universal Lagrangian?

The large 6 and 9 across the puzzle middle. The first of the three boxes adds to 127. 12 and 7 being 19 (this is loose though). The middle box is + or and. And the last box adds to 201. Together 6/19/2019. Which is the date of the last post and perhaps connects them
The confessio augustana is the Augsburg confession, on June 25th, 1530. The battle of breitenfeld happened September 17th, 1631, roughly a century afterward. Notice 6/25/1530 and 9/17/1631. Summing up the date numbers gives 6+25+1530=1561 and 9+17+1631=1657. Their difference, is 1657-1561=96. 96 could be related to the 6 and 9 seen in large text. his ad seems to make reference to the 30 Years War: Using the solution to the magic square puzzle, the sum of each row, column, and 3x3 square is 369. subtracting this number from the year this ad was posted gives the year 1648. May 17th of 1648 is the date of the Battle of Zusmarshausen was fought, which was the last major battle of the 30 Years War and resulted in a victory for the mostly Protestant Franco-Swedish forces. 1648 also marks the year that the 30 Years War concluded, with both sides signing of The Peace of Westphalia on October 24th. This war was of course fought originally over what theocratic rule would be imposed over Europe, perhaps connecting the Leitmotiv (being that of the importance of Theology) to the motivation of this conflict. Also, the Battle of Breitenfield, another important battle from the 30 Years War which was won by Adolphus, is referenced in the ad. These are just my thoughts and they could be totally wrong, make of them what you will.
